Accessibility
Our commitment to making Medverion usable by everyone, and the gaps we know about.
Our aim
We want Medverion to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader, magnifier or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Pages use headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, and there is a “Skip to content” link.
- Interactive controls are standard links, buttons and form fields that work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline; press / to open search.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Layouts adapt to browser zoom and small screens, and the app offers light and dark themes and a reading text-size setting.
Known limitations
- The 3D anatomy viewer and some interactive visuals rely on pointing and dragging; the same facts are available as text in the library.
- Some charts show information visually; we are adding text summaries.
- Video lessons are not yet published; when they are, they will have captions and transcripts.
How we tested
This statement was prepared on 1 October 2026 from a self-assessment of the site’s design and code. We have not yet completed full screen-reader testing or an independent audit, and we will update this page when we do.
Feedback and help
If something is hard to use, or you need content in a different format, email [email protected] with “Accessibility” in the subject, or use the contact form. Tell us the page and what happened; we aim to reply within a few working days.
