Getting started
What is Medverion?
Medverion is an online study platform for medical licensing and board exams. It brings together a question bank with full explanations, a library of notes and guideline summaries, a 3D anatomy viewer, branching clinical cases, a study planner and a community.
Is Medverion free?
Yes. During early access, creating an account and using every live feature is free. Payments are not switched on. Paid plans are planned for later; we will announce them and their prices before anything is charged, and nobody will be charged automatically.
Which exams does it cover?
USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK and Step 3, COMLEX Level 1, PLAB 1, the AMC CAT MCQ and NEET PG, plus deeper questions for specialty boards. Every question is tagged with the exams it suits, so you can practise in your exam's style.
Do I need an account?
No, you can try sample questions, the library, the 3D anatomy viewer and a clinical case without one. A free account saves your progress across devices and opens the full question bank, the full library text, the community and your performance dashboard.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet. The website works on phones, tablets and computers, and your progress syncs between them when you are signed in. Native iOS and Android apps are planned.
Content
How many questions are there?
The bank currently holds 163 original questions across 17 systems, and it grows as new questions pass review. Each one has a full explanation, a reason for every option and a learning objective.
Who writes the content?
All questions and summaries are original Medverion content, written with AI assistance and checked against current guidelines and standard references. Every item carries a review status, and clinical review of the whole bank is ongoing. If something looks wrong, please tell us.
Are the questions taken from real exams?
No. They are original questions written in each exam's style. We never use recalled or leaked exam questions.
How do I report a mistake?
Use the contact form and choose “Content or a question”. Include the question ID if you can see it (for example mv-cv-001), or the first words of the question or the page title. Clinical corrections are handled first.
Can I rely on the guideline summaries?
They are study aids that name the guideline and year they are based on. Guidelines change and local protocols differ, so always check the current guideline before applying anything to patient care.
What does the study copilot do?
The copilot currently answers a curated set of high-yield topics with structured explanations and links to related questions and summaries. Open-ended answers to any question are planned.
Does Medverion provide CME or CPD credit?
No. Medverion is an exam-preparation and learning platform and does not provide CME or CPD credit.
Is Medverion linked to the exam bodies?
No. Medverion is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the USMLE programme, NBME, FSMB, NBOME, the GMC, the AMC or NBEMS. Exam names belong to their owners.
Account and privacy
How is my progress saved?
When you are signed in, your answers, notes, study plan and other progress are stored securely on our servers, so they follow you between devices. When you are not signed in, anything you do stays only in your own browser.
I forgot my password. What now?
Choose “Forgot password” on the log-in form. Medverion does not send automated emails yet, so the request goes to our team, who will contact you at your account email address with a temporary password. You choose a new password the next time you sign in.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. In Account settings, choose Delete account and confirm with your password. Your account and all data linked to it, including answers, notes, plans and community posts, are deleted straight away.
Do you use tracking cookies or ads?
No. We set one essential session cookie when you sign in, and we keep a few preferences (such as the colour theme) in your browser's local storage. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
What are the community rules?
Be respectful, share study tips and questions freely, and never post anything that could identify a patient. You can report a post or comment, and moderators may hide content that breaks the rules.
